Imperial Vizier

So I haven’t been able to post as much as I would like to this month. Mostly because things have been busy. Especially with 2 vacations so close together. An things probably won’t settle down till after my vacation in sept. XD

Now none of this is probably going to be in order. More of as I remember it. XD

I did finally get NIN to 80 earlier this month. Like 2 weeks ago I think. So finally done till the next level cap in crease anyways. XD An of course my first venture as a NIN80 is to go help Kachi kill Cassie. It wasn’t hard at all really. Though I had to hurry up an get my WS gear setup since I had the pink gear now.

I got to go to Dyna-Bastok as DRG! O_O My very first time as something that wasn’t a mage in Dyna! We got joking around about titles in Soymilk officer ranks. I got dubbed the Imperial Vizier of the Holy Soymilkian Empire. Rath is the Emperor. Kuro is the Minister of Defense. I don’t remember any others. XD

I joined the Soymilk team for Salvage. Though I still do the occasional shout run to help Kachi out. Still unsure what 3 items I’m make for my lots in the Soymilk team. But I do like running with them. Its a lot more relaxed and fun. My WHM killed Vanny’s BRD the one run when Brain Jack happened.

I went to Abyssea-Highlands to help Gokku and Kachijin kill a NM they wanted a helm from. It was rather interesting. Especially since the one kill we did the last 10% zombied. (We were all weak. XD) We got 2 helms and a DNC necklace. I settled for the necklace since I do plan to lvl DNC asap an its a really awesome piece for a DNC80.

Of course this month was also the Summer Breeze festival. Which I went an did since there was new furniture items. Each item chimes during a certain game hour. So I couldn’t resist them.

Did a few Nyzul runs to help Bulrogg get a Scythe for unlocking the ToAU weaponskills. Nothing really interesting dropped. *shrug* Oh well.

I did the 2 newest Sandy (S) Quests with Shokox and Cjkenji. Yay~ I’m all set for the next batch of missions. Though I will still help my static team on Tuesdays of course. (Giving up one of my 2 Limbus days for a WotG static. So still going to run with StrangeSouls on Saturdays when I’m not working but Tuesdays I’m do static.)

Last Dyna-Windy was our first lowman run. We started with 11 people, eventually going up to 14 as some late comers arrived. S0 we skipped NMs and just farmed. I got PLD Boots & SCH Boots. We actually did really well for being a lowman team.

Last night since we didn’t really have enough people to do anything in Limbus and the only person with a near finished pop set was on vacation, we went an exp’d. My first real party on THF in a few years. I solo/duo’d from 27-35. So I was afraid at how bad my pulling skills were going to suck. xD I managed to get to 38 before we decided to call it a night.

That’s it. Hopefully I can go back to posting weekly once all this busy period is past.

Pushing Forward

This post will probably end up being long. XD With mostly typing cause I didn’t take too many screenshots since my last update. Going to have more then just FFXI stuff mixed in too. Cause I feel like it.

Woohoo! 2 more jobs have finally hit the 80 mark. Leaves just one more to go. I got SMN to 80 yesterday. DRG I did to 80 a few days ago. ^^ Meaning just NIN is left but I’m not sure how lucky I am going to be to get in Abyssea on that. x.x;

I also finished SAM sub for this update. Got it to 42 which gives me a bit of a head start next level increase. As well as I got WAR done to 40 today. Yay now I can level NIN without a gimp sub!

We decided to stop doing Nyzul static. Though we stopped that we started doing Assault points instead for Salvage runs. The new gear from the last update pretty much made the time spent on Nyzul not worth it anymore.

Decided I don’t want to remain in Thundercats. The two people I joined for have already left the shell awhile ago. Plus I’m not sure I want to run that many times in a week anymore either. I have a lot of things coming up an trying to fit SM events in with so many days of Salvage is going to be a pain probably once we get Einherjar, Walk of Echoes, and maybe an earlier Abyssea going. Plus I would like to cut back on Salvage since a) the gear is still crazy expensive, b) I have no easy way to make gil for the cost of the gear, c) some pieces like morri legs became pretty much not worth the price with the new gear from last update. I was asked to join my friends from SM on their Sunday Salvage runs. I think I just might join them permanently. I mean yeah they still got some things to iron out but its a group of people I like an totally get along with. XD I even died for them trying to help pull one NM a different way. I just feel more relaxed with them then I do with TC.

I just kind of feel bad leaving any kind of group. TC people aren’t bad people but I don’t exactly feel like I fit in there either. I feel like my skills would be better off in the SM team. Really don’t like how often I’m made the second rate healer in TC. ~_~ If there are 2 RDM on a run I’m always second to get anything. I’m the one who is good at managing my mp. I’m the one with spells an gear designed to push my RDM to the limits to keep people alive. I maxed Phalanx II especially for things where it could help make the difference. Gokku and Kachijin had wanted me to join TC because they think I’m a really good RDM. Then in SM Jeuno Wed I was joking around cause someone said they were a crappy RDM. I said I’m a good RDM. An Kuro agreed. An he added that it was hard to find a good WHM who doesn’t mind playing the job which is why I’m always WHM an not RDM. XD So its not like I’m a bad healer. I’ve spent so long playing as a healer that I better know wtf I’m doing after this long. 6 years after all!

Phew. I feel a little better after ranting that little bit. Still think I’m just quit TC. They stress me out more then I have fun. The game is about having fun an escaping from the RL world for a little while. If I’m not having fun then something needs to change.

I’m a little sad. OneManga closed down. Now I have to find somewhere else to read chapters as they’re translated by other fans till the actual book reaches the US for sale. (Yes I still support my favorite authors by buying the manga in the official translations. I did so with Tsubasa RC though I read the entire thing online as fans released chapters. Support your favorite authors an buy the books!) I liked getting my daily manga fix from OneManga. I also found a few new ones I liked during the time I was reading mangas there. I liked being able to find new likes before buying the book an not liking it. =/ Plus the fan mangas were nice for cropping an making icons out of.

Oh an speaking of books. I finally finished reading HP and the Half-Blood Prince last night after Abyssea. XD Only took me like 2 months to read cause I was mainly only reading it at work. So I sat down an finished it last night so I could start on the final book. I have a lot of reading to catch up on. Especially before the movies/next books are released. Still have to read the latest House of Night book, finish the Eragon books, finish the last of the Goddess Summoning books, plus read the newest one by Anne Bishop.

An I found this nice little firefox plugin called fire.fm. c.c It plays the music from Last.fm. So far I’ve found a couple new artists I like in the gothic/symphonic metal. Most being groups with a female lead singer. I might look into downloading some of the songs from amazon or something. Let’s see… I like Leaves’ Eyes, Krypteria, and Nemesea. That’s just 3 of the new groups I’ve found that I like. Its kinda surprising that most of the good gothic/symphonic metal are foreign groups. Gives me a new variety to listen to while I play 11. ^^

I’m sure there was something else I wanted to mention but I can’t remember for the life of me. *shrug* If I remember later I’ll post it. XD

Trial of the Magians

So I finally decided to start working on some Magian weapons after helping some people with their own trials.

The day started off with me helping Kachi with Cassie out in Fei’yin.  Crappy drops. =/ His TH must be broke again. I did the ACP key there afterwards. Didn’t really get anything good out of it.

Then I went leveling SAM for my DRG. Got to SAM39 before I had to quit for Sky.

After Sky I went to help Xyndifor with his trial on Crawlers. I geared up my THF27 so he could sync down an kill the ones in Pashhow. I actually had fun doing so. So I added THF to my subjob list. (Cause I could use it for /THF in Sky if they actually let me come DRG more.)

After that we went to the desert to work on my sword trial. Several hours later… Finally get earth weather an knock out half the beetles in one round of weather. We finished when weather popped again. XD It was about 3a when we finally finished.

So I went ahead an triggered a couple of trials since my next sword trial I need darksday/dark weather. Today I’m miss most of darksday since I have a work meeting soon. =/ So I decided to work on my katana. 50 Lizards in any weather. (Waiting on weather atm.)

So removed the endgame tab on my blog. Since I dunno what I really wanna put there anyways. Changed it to a Magian Trials page. So I can mark down what trials I intend to do so I don’t have to spend 5mins looking on wiki cause I forgot.

Oh an while waiting for weather for my beetles last night I finally finished Persona 3 Portable. Well the first play through anyways. Time to play it again.

Darkness Rising

First off. Dinged two more jobs to the 80 mark. SMN isn’t too far behind. Its at 78 at the moment.

Lots of stuff going on. Most of it being Abyssea. Or Persona 3 Portable.

As you seen above been on a leveling spree in Abyssea as often as I have the stones for it. Yesterday I went as SMN. Bought all three sets of armor. All the key items. Even spent some cruor to help Rianon get all the teal parts. <3 Did a run with Rianon. An I did a run with Tace.

Of course as usual I did other normal weekly events. Though very little dropped that I was interested in or I lost lots on the things I wanted. (Though I did snag a SMN upgrade for my +1 SMN Spats.)

Last night was Dyna-Tavy & KSNM99. KSNM99 was the Wyrm. >.> I really hate that Wyrm. Someone even spike flailed us… But we recovered it. We went to Tavy after 4 orbs. I got my BLM coat for 20points!!! (Woulda cost me 60 in Glacier since its not my main or secondary lot job.) Thank you Exsonious for not continuing to bid against me. <3 That puts me at 6/6 on BLM Relic.

Other night I spent some time helping farm/kill for swift belts for DG & her man DD in KnightsofBathazar. Got one for DG. I had to head to bed shortly after. Though I did go see Keremet. I was curious if he aggro’d a lvl76 player. >.>; He does. An he summons his skeleton army from out in the hallway. Glad I was on NIN. No exp loss since I 2hred to save myself.

Sometime last week I helped with yet another PM6-4. Free easy EXP for me~! For a LS member (Scorcher) and a friend (Aznmonk).

Helped Tace with a couple BLU spells. Followed by helping Exsonious with his trial for his polearm on DRG. <3 Lunar Bay. 1100 dmg on Flans. Also did an Odin Prime fight afterwards. 3/13 kills for setting Luzaf free!

Think that’s about it worth mentioning right now. Almost done with my first play through of Persona 3 Portable. I already have the whole climb done. Just waiting for Nyx at the end of the month. So getting S.Link stuff done till then.

Cap Reached!

So last night I went to EXP RDM in Misareaux Coast. Went badly at first since there was no voke to keep hate on the DD an not on me. DRG decided to switch to PLD an things went more smoothly after he switched. Didn’t level up before party disbanded though.

Decided to sit in Whitegate an lfp on BLM so I could also look for Abyssea shout groups. Figured I’d be lfp a while on BLM. So it gave me perfect chance to lfp while looking for a shout group plus play Persona 3 Portable.

Found a Abyssea shout group. Did not get to go as BLM as I hoped since last time I went BLM it was really easy peasy. Went as my RDM78. Well we started around 8p and didn’t end till around 3a. XD I was almost constantly sitting on an hr remaining for hours cause we kept finding time chests.

I went from RDM78 to RDM80. Capped RDM’s EXP and earned 4 merits. (I only had 11 limit points when I capped exp an it switched me.) So 6hrs worth of EXP that was well worth the time. Even if I was trying to keep a whole alliance alive cause the WHM d/ced near the start an Hackett fell asleep after a few hours. XD PLUS! I won a Protect 5 scroll from a chest. (We randomed off all the chest stuff after the run.) Yay~ 1 spell down. (Not paying no 150kish for some of the scrolls…)

Now its time to go spend some cruor. Ran outta time before I could last night/this morning. So much to get an so little cruor to get it all. XD Better mark down all that I need before I forget something. Going to get the entire Perle set even if certain pieces aren’t all that much better then what I do have for DRG. Going to get the Teal Cuffs for enfeebling though keeping my Goli hands for nuking. (Gawd… More macro editing…) An going to get Aurore boots and body for my NIN. Then I mainly just need to spend cruor on warps and key items.

Spent my merits on Super Jump recast for DRG and Ice Acc for RDM. Now its time to work on subjobs since I finally got at least one job to 80. Would like to level DRG next but I need to level WAR & SAM to proper sub level first. Maybe I’ll work on SCH sub after WAR an SAM though.

Battle Hymn of the Soul

Okay update time~

Saturday (the 3rd) was Limbus. Got myself the other half of a DRG upgrade and a WHM upgrade. Yay~! Turned in the DRG upgrade first.

Then Tace, Sharkycan and I tried some Royal Jelly runs for some gil. Unfortunately none of us got anything worthwhile. Was hoping for a Phalanx scroll since they were still expensive.

Saturday was also a double Salvage run day. We did Long-Armed Chariot first. XD I got charmed at least once. Followed by a BR farming.

Around 4am Sunday I helped with a PM6-4 fight for Blackthorn & Ultramage. Got to as DRG.

Sunday was Dyna-Bubu. Was hoping for a DRG Belt but no such luck. We had a good run but drops were a bit stingy.

Monday I helped with a Bomb Queen run for some friends from ProphecyReborn. We popped it once but only got the ring. I know Tace wanted the Avengers. Got to go as SMN. Which dinged 76 while we were farming for more ash.

Later Monday night was Nyzul as usual. I got to go as DRG for the first time since I dinged 75. Unfortunately we had a lot of bad luck that night. XD So I told Dom he could go back to coming as PUP cause we have better luck when I’m RDM.

Tuesday I went to Abyssea with Handsofhell. He was on SCH and I was on BLM. We duo’d puddings in the highlands zone for some exp & cruor. Seen a slime as big as a several story building not far away. XD Was an interesting hour an half.

I went to Campaign for the last of the exp I needed for BLM76 with Tace not long after.

Then was time for a trip into Abyssea with Gokku to try an kill the Mandy NM. >.>; We made it down to 11% before we wiped. We were trying lowman with MNKx3, RDM, THF/WHM, & BRD.

After that was Limbus. Another Tenemos.

Wednesday was Dyna-Bastok. I wasn’t originally supposed to be able to attend. However somehow I picked up a case of pink eye from work. So I had to call off an went to Dyna. I so made out like a bandit~! >:D Got MNK, SCH, & BRD freelot. ^^ Plus we totally cleared Bastok of every last mob.

After the run a few of us tried to do a ACP final fight. Unfortunately Kurosawa & Chibibelle’s internet went out like a minute after we entered. So we didn’t get the win an I’m now minus my ACP body. *sigh*

Thursday I tried to solo Uninvited Guests again. Did not go as well. He swapped to mage form an beat me. >.< An I forgot you lose exp when you die so I delvled NIN. XD *sigh* So I went off to the Valley to relvl after that.

I later went to a lvl sync’d BLM burn. Got to BLM77 and half way to 78.

Friday was Sky. We killed Byakko & Seiryu.

Saturday I did a shout Abyssea run. An it was awesome! I got BLM78 an half way tnl. Got my Teal body & pants. Plus the key item that extends time! >:D Woot! I’d gladly do that again.

Later Salvage team did AR boss. >:D An we won! That gives me all 4 Salvage wins. Yay~! Plus I got the lvl25 hands for Usu. Just need the 35 piece now.

Sunday was Dyna-Windy. An once again… No SMN pants… >.> Really think they don’t exist if I can attend.

We also did AR boss again. But it was more tricky since neither of us RDM had gotten an Opa for Convert. XD But we still won~

Monday I didn’t get to do much since I had my car inspection an went running around with my dad while waiting. Went to Nyzul though for sure. We didn’t get a single drop… >.< Blarg!

In my free time I’ve been playing Persona 3 Portable. Yay!!! A portable version!!! An a female lead cast option~!

I so like portable versions of games better. Means I don’t have to find enough time to sit down at a console. Plus it means I can lfp while on FFXI an still play something else in the meantime. Plus I can play it on the go! ^^

Other then that I think I’m out of things to post this time. An yes the post title is the name of a song from the Persona 3 OST I got when I bought the first Persona 3.

Pardon Our Dust~

So I know I’m overdue for making a nice update on what’s been going on. But Rianon an I (mostly Rianon) have been moving things around to add my blog to the network instead of being an individual blog. So once I finish re-adding a few things that didn’t transfer too well an adjusting a few things I’ll make a proper update. Expect lots of goodies in the update. >:D

Okay first off before I get into all the details of the week. Dragoon 75!!! Reached my goal before the update!

Sunday was Dyna-Dunes. Nothing really nice drop wise. Actually hardly had any drops. Mostly was relic pieces. 2 -1 pieces though not anything spectacular. Went to exp on DRG after that. Pretty sure I spent the rest of the day on DRG. Some in campaign some in exp.

Monday more exping on DRG. Again some in campaign and some in exp. Then went to Nyzul. Aznmonk filled in for us since Vanny had school work to do. Denali hands dropped and Unipuma got them. Afterward I went to do a bit more Campaign. With Rianon of course this time.

Tuesday more campaign. Work kept me from exping in parties. XP

Wednesday was Dyna-X. I ended up as BLM. xD Bleh! An we went for DL kill. Yay we killed DL! But all he dropped was big money.

Thursday I went exp pt crazy~! Got 75 on DRG! Unmuled my SAM gear after pt ended so I could work on my /SAM for DRG. But didn’t get too far. XD Forgot it was Salvage night. So I went to do SSR with Tundercats. Got that last piece for my Marduk’s Crackows.

Friday I worked on /SAM. Got from 32 to 35.

Saturday (today) I went to Limbus with StrangeSouls. Got Apollyon DRG AF upgrade piece. Couple of us were dualboxing characters today since turnout was a bit low. Including myself. I dragged Tace along with us on RDM.

So overall its been a really productive week. Got to 75. Got my Marduk. Beat DL. Turned in my DRG AF Hands for +1. Got an Allied Ring. ^^ Yup really productive week~!

Dragoon Power~!

Where to start… Lots of more exping on Dragoon! XD Of course~

I am now at Dragoon 71. Almost 72. Not much further now~

Yeah as usual I forgot to right down everything that happened so I forgot some stuff an others I dun remember what days they happened on. XD That’s what happens with a crazy work schedule, events, etc. Let’s see… Last update I did was the 4th. So Friday!

Friday lots more exping on Dragoon. Both in exp pt and in Besieged. Got to 67 so could now wear my AJ!

Saturday I woke in time for Limbus. Another Apollyon run as usual… /sigh. Went to exp with Gokku, Kachi, and Tat after. LS Party ftw. Well mostly LS Party since 4 out of the 6 of us are CoreReborn peoples. We got Chain 40 in a lvl55-60 bird party! Don’t remember what level we were sync’d to though. We went to do a ISNM after that. Compliments to the Chef I think it was. Whatever the one with the big ugly fish is. Of course I didn’t get anything nice drop wise. Mostly junk.

Sunday was Dyna-Glacier. Didn’t go too badly. No BLM coats of course. Salvage too. Though I don’t remember anything special dropping.

Monday! More exping on Dragoon of course! An Nyzul. Don’t recall us getting anything really drop wise. xD

Tuesday more exping! Well first was Campaign. Then was exping in pt. Partied with people on KnightofBathazar. Was a lvl22-27 exp party which I would normally NEVER do at my Dragoon’s current level. But they were people I know so I figured it couldn’t go that badly. So I got Dragoon 70. The it was off to Limbus. More Apollyon… Ugh! After that I went to Salvage with Gokku & Kachi. I won Ea’s Crackows. Which puts me at 2/3 for Marduk boots. Just need the lvl35 piece now.

Wednesday was more Dragoon exping before Dynamis. Dyna-Windy went so much better this week. We got the win for our newer members. Of course no SMN pants. I did win PUP hands with a 666 lot. xD LOL! Talk about creepy.

Thursday was more attempting to level but after a few hours seeking with no luck I went with Gokku down to the Den of Rancor to skill up instead. Dragged Tace along as our healer whore. Capped my polearm for level 70. The later did more Salvage with Gokku & Kachijin.

Friday was just more leveling before work. Got 71.

Saturday was more campagin as Dragoon. Got my starlight medal back. An right now in Salvage as I type. xD As BLM so here an there I’ve had moments to write this post. That’s about it for now.
